Early in the year, parents meet their child’s teacher to review the program of studies for the year. Four reports are issued during the year, as outlined in the school calendar. Parent-Teacher interviews are also part of the reporting procedure. However, when a student is experiencing difficulty in a subject, or if any concern arises that requires the collaboration of home and school, teachers communicate with parents as soon as possible. Parents may also request to meet with teachers during the year to share concerns or observations by making an appointment. Many teachers post homework and projects on secure sites in the internet, accessible from home.
Parents are welcome to speak with the Merton school administration to address any concerns involving Merton School or their child. Visit our contact page for the e-mail addresses and telephone numbers of the administration.
