Strike Update #2
The four unions representing English Montreal School Board employees, (MTA teachers, APPA support staff, educators and daycare employees, QFL caretakers and cafeteria workers, and SPPMEM professionals) have given the school board official notice that they will be on strike for five full working days, December 8 to 14 inclusively.
Westmount High School teacher wins Governor General’s History Award
For her exceptional commitment to sharing Canadian history from a new perspective, Chantal Clabrough, a teacher at Westmount High School, has been named a laureate of the Governor General’s History Awards for Excellence in Teaching— the country's most prestigious history honour.
Dunrae Gardens Elementary School unveils mural
The staff and students of Dunrae Gardens Elementary School in Town of Mount Royal officially unveiled a beautiful new mural on the west façade of their building at a ceremony on November 27, with special guests on hand.
