Laurier Macdonald Phys Ed teacher D’Alessandro honored by St. Leonard Cougars Football Organization
The St. Leonard Cougars Football Organization and the Quebec Midget Football League (QMFL) have recognized one of their most respected and dedicated members — Coach Andy D’Alessandro. On October 11, he was inducted into the St. Leonard Cougars Hall of Fame, recognizing his 35 years of service and leadership within our organization and his tremendous impact on generations of youth across Montreal.

Nesbitt Elementary School music teacher Derome to receive prestigious award
Caroline Derome, the music teacher at Nesbitt Elementary School in Rosemont, has been named a 2025 Teacher of Distinction. She will be receiving her award from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto on Sunday, November 16.
EMSB set for 2025 Expanded Open House Education and Career Fair
The 25th annual English Montreal School Board Education and Career Fair Open House, will be taking place in an expanded format on Wednesday, October 22, at the St. Pius X Career Centre in Ahuntsic (9955 Papineau Boulevard North).
