Steam @ East Hill: Term 1 Is A Wrap!
Big things are happening within STEAM (Science Technology Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Education at East Hill Elementary School! Having successfully completed the first of a three year pilot project, East Hill has formally adopted the STEAM pedagogical approach. This method favours a collaborative, interdisciplinary, hands-on, process driven, and problem solving oriented approach.

French Immersion

Bilingualism has many cognitive benefits that go beyond those of language acquisition such as heightened mental flexibility, creative thinking skills, enhanced metalinguistic awareness as well as greater communicative sensitivity.

Physical Education

The aim of the Physical Education and Health program at Merton is to help our students to develop the skills, knowledge, and values needed to establish and enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle.

Science & Technology & Robotics

We believe that technology offers tremendous opportunities for learning, infinitely expands the walls of the classroom, and makes available wonderful resources that our students can and should take advantage of.
